The creator of the popular blog “Nicole Junkers” is now a billionaire after raising $1.8 billion in funding from an array of investors, including Google Ventures and Sequoia Capital.
The New York Times reports that Junkerman is now worth $1 billion, after raising another $500 million in funding.
Her new venture is called Nicole’s Junkers and it is an online newsletter that she started in 2010.
Her goal is to give entrepreneurs and others a platform to share their experiences and ideas, and to share advice on how to start a business.
Junkerman is also a co-founder of The Startup Factory, an online learning hub for entrepreneurs.
Her other ventures include a startup accelerator in the UK and a startup company in India.
Her latest venture, Nicole, has over 1.2 million subscribers.
She has been writing the blog since 2009.
Her advice for young entrepreneurs and their first steps is to find their passion, the Times reports.
Jungleers and her blog helped inspire many of the women in her life, including two of her daughters, and helped her develop a lifelong passion for life.
“I think she’s going to be really good at getting a lot of women to follow her and not be afraid of going against the grain, because they’ve got so many things they want to be able to do,” her daughter Lauren said.
Junker said that her success is thanks to her daughter’s encouragement and her support.
“Nicole has really helped me realize that my life is really my own, and she’s really helped to create this platform where I can share with so many other people, and really empower them to be a part of my life,” she said.
