The first product from the startup 6+ that the company announced on Tuesday was its first 6+ business.
“We’re excited to unveil this product line,” CEO Peter Vos said.
The 6+ line of products includes a home security product called the HomeGuard, a home health and fitness device called the FitBit and an online store for consumers to shop for health and beauty products.
6+ is not the first company to launch a new business in 2019.
In July, Fitbit announced it was adding a new line of 6+ products to its portfolio, including a new fitness tracker called the Jawbone UP3.
Vos said that he expected the 6+ portfolio to expand to more products in 2019 as more businesses are added to the 6+.
The company’s first 6-packs will go on sale in February 2019, he said.
In January 2019, Fitbits founder and CEO Brandon Stanton introduced the Fitbit 6+.
That product, which has a battery that can last up to a week, has been a hit with consumers.
